When you use a specific font in a skin how can you find out if it can be freely distributed? I have hundreds of fonts none of which I have paid for, most of them have been included in skins that I have downloaded. Can I use these font files freely or do I have to pay someone somewhere to do this?.

There are fonts that will not (or should not) redistribute. If you check the Ferrari Skin there's an included font called Ferro Rosso that is copyrighted and it will not embed into other programs like powerpoint. If you double click on a font file it will open the Font Viewer. In the top box it should say whether it's copyrighted or not.

As an example try the 911Porscha font (por2.ttf) which is included with a lot of skins. It does NOT refer to copyright but mentions where it's from (Iconian Fonts etc.) Based on that I would say it's redistributable without any specific permission. However, the Ferro Rosso font mentions Michael Hageman, Fontmesa.com and the important "All Rights Reserved" which to me says redistribution is a no-no without permisso.
